World Food Day was a tremendous success.  In our six-year history we have never packed this many meals at one time.  We packaged 60,234 meals with the help of around 250 volunteers.  The food packaged that day was combined with some inventory we had on hand and Monday morning we sent a loaded truck with over 71,000 meals down to the KAH International office to be combined with other Kids Against Hunger satellite contributions to be sent immediately for the Horn of Africa Relief efforts.

Many thanks to the volunteers who packed.  Thanks also to volunteers who gave their time leading the packing lines, setting up, tearing down, and helping the event flow so smoothly.
